Our commitment

 

EPIC website was created as a resource for our patients as well as those who want to learn more about inflammatory bowel disease. We want to be transparent in regards to the information we collect and the ways it can be used.

 

Collection of personal information

 

Personal Information is information about you that identifies you as an individual, for example, your name, address, e-mail address, or telephone number.

 

We do not collect any of the above without your knowledge. We may only collect information that you have provided to us voluntarily via subscribing to the website updates or by contacting us via email outside of this website.

 

We do not collect information regarding donations done via the link on this website.  

 

Use of personal information

 

If you provide your email address by subscribing to our updates, we will only use it for sharing the updates regarding our clinic and not to contact you directly or offer you any products. We do not ask for your name or any other details about you. You can request to be removed from the subscription list anytime.

 

If you participate in our contest or reach out to us for a different reason using provided email address, we will use your information to communicate with you. We will not use this information for any other purpose. We will not share any of your personal information on our website. We may share your story or creative work if you give us explicit permission to do so.

 

We will not share any of the collected information with parties that are not mentioned in this privacy statement, unless required by law.

 

How do we store and protect our visitors data

 

Our company is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.

 

Children’s privacy

 

EPIC considers the protection of children's privacy, especially online, to be of the utmost importance. We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under 13 without parental or guardian consent. If a child has provided us with personal information without parental or guardian consent, his or her parent or guardian may contact us for the purpose of deleting this information.
