CONTRIBUTE TO THE WEBSITE
Edmonton IBD clinic is first of all our patients and their families. By providing us feedback, you can improve the content or presentation of the material as well as tell us what else you are interested in when it comes to IBD, lifestyle and more.
We also invite you contribute to this website by sharing your creative work, drawings, photos, stories or anything else by submitting it by email or share with your clinical team in person.
SHARE YOUR STORY
We hope this website will not only be a helpful resource to find out more about IBD, but will also help patients and their families to get back to normal life. If you want to help others by sharing your experience, explaining how you managed to overcome your obstacles, or just giving advice, we will be happy to publish it on this website. We can keep your story anonymous or include your name.

NATIONAL KIDSCAN INITIATIVE
WE ARE RECRUITING FOR OUR YOUTH ADVISORY GROUP!
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
-13 - 19 y.o.
- Youth who are current or past patients and have participated in a clinical trial
- Able to read and write fluently in English
- Able to make 10/12 of the annual meetings (always on a Saturday)
- Can commit to between 5 - 10 hours per month of KidsCan related activities
WHO ARE WE?
The KidsCan Young Persons Advisory Group for research is a national initiative in Canada aimed to increase the engagement of paediatric patients in all phases of the research process. KidsCan is currently the only advisory group at a national level that focuses on young patients.
This initiative allows Canadian researchers to access unique consultations services to support their research endeavors. We aim to provide a platform for youth and researchers to engage and discuss research documents, raise awareness about research and engage children and young people in outcomes for clinical trials.
